

Dr. Prasanth Dharmarajan, PhD
Associate Professor, Dept. Panchakarma, All India Institute of Ayurveda
Dr. Prasanth Dharmarajan, PhD, is a globally recognised Ayurveda physician, educator, and researcher specialising in Panchakarma and Integrative Medicine, with a large global patient base.
Hailing from a family of traditional Ayurvedic practitioners in Kerala, India, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Ayurveda through his extensive contributions to education, clinical practice, and policy-making.
Presently he serves as Associate Professor in Department of Panchakarma, All India Institute of Ayurveda New Delhi.
As one of the founding faculty members of the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) since 2015, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, he has been instrumental in setting up worlds largest Panchakarma set up and establishing India’s first national standards for training Panchakarma therapists and technicians, ensuring a structured and high-quality approach to Ayurvedic therapy.
Over the years, he has set up numerous Panchakarma and Ayurveda wellness centers across India, including prestigious institutions such as the Supreme Court of India, LBSNAA Mussoorie, Safdarjung Hospital, Statue of Unity, and the Army Base Hospital in Delhi for government of India under ministry of Ayush integrating traditional healing systems with modern medical frameworks.
Currently also serving with additional responsibilities as the Associate Dean for International Cooperation at AIIA, and also as National Nodal Officer for Skill Development Programs in Ayurveda center of excellence DAKSHYA, also as Nodal Officer for AIIA Extension Centres.
He is deeply involved in expanding the global reach of Ayurveda through research collaborations and policy development.
His expertise has taken him across the world as an invited speaker, having delivered international talks in Germany, Switzerland, French Reunion, Australia, Russia, Canada, UAE, Cuba, Bhutan, Nepal, Cambodia and several other countries, where he continues to promote Ayurveda’s role in integrative healthcare
